How To Delete Downloads On Netflix

You can delete a downloaded TV show or movie from your device when you’re finished watching it. Downloads can be deleted individually or all at once. 


Delete a single TV show or movie

  1. Open the Netflix app and tap Downloads.
  2. On a tablet or computer running Windows 10 or Windows 11, select Menu, then My Downloads.
  3. In the upper right corner of the screen, tap Edit.
  4. To delete an individual episode from a TV show, select the TV show first.
  5. Check the box next to the TV show or movie you want to delete, then tap Delete or the red X.

Note: Some devices have Download Next Episode, which will delete a downloaded TV episode after it’s watched, then automatically download the next episode.

Delete all downloads

  1. Open the Netflix app and select More , the 3-dot “More” icon … , or the Profile icon.
  2. Select App Settings or Settings.
  3. Under Downloads, select Delete All Downloads.
  4. On the confirmation screen, select OK or Delete.

You can also delete downloads from a device you don’t have access to by removing that device from your Netflix account.

Remove a device using iOS, Android, or Amazon Fire

  1. Sign In to Netflix on a mobile browser.
  2. Click the profile menu or tap More.
  3. Select Account.
  4. Select Manage Download Devices.
  5. Select Remove Device on any device you want to remove.

Remove a device using Windows 10 or Windows 11

  1. Click or tap the 3-dot “More” … icon.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Account Details.
  4. Select Manage Download Devices.
  5. Select Remove Device on any device you want to remove.

Note: If you closed your account and want to delete previously downloaded titles, delete the Netflix app from your device.
