How to Download Images And Videos From Google Photos On Mobile Devices, Laptops, Tablets Etc

Download Images And Videos From Google Photos: Google Photos is a free app that allows you to store photos and videos on your smartphone at no extra cost. But starting June 1, Google will change the photo storage conditions for each user. Users who save their photos and videos to the app from this date must use their available quota of 15 GB to keep them. And when they run out of space, they have to look at other services or pay to increase the data storage on Google Drive.

Google offers every account user 15 GB of free storage, which is counted towards Drive, Photos, Gmail and more. A few years ago that would have been enough. But with modern phone cameras that deliver high-quality photos, it becomes difficult to manage everything in just 15 GB.

Here’s a quick look at Google One storage plans that also include a quota for photos and how to download all photos from Google Photos and store them on your device.

What Else You Can Use: OneDrive from Microsoft is better with its basic plan, offering its users 5 GB of free storage. If you need more, sign up for the paid plans starting at Rs 140 for 100 GB.

How To Use Google Photos Backup And Sync For Photos

Before downloading the photos from Google Photos and saving them to other services, make sure to back up and sync all the photos you need. Because, without doing this, you can lose all the important photos you need. This is how it works:

  1. Go to the Google Photos app on mobile.
  2. Go to the Library section at the bottom right.
  3. Click on a folder.
  4. Select Backup and sync to save the photos.
  5. Do this for all photos stored on the phone.
