His character “the Man With No Name” would go on to appear in For a Few More Dollars & The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. A certified Western star, he would continue an applauded career in other Westerns including Hang em High, Paint Your Wagon, and Two Mules for Sister Sara.

The cowboy then made a shift in his persona by starring as the anti-hero cop in the 1971 film Dirty Harry. From then on, Eastwood would continue a diverse career with high-paying roles. He made an impressive $12 million for his role in Any Which Way But Loose. In 1984, he was paid $5 million for his role in City Heat. Real estate cash flow

Do you think he stopped there? Absolutely not. Clint Eastwood would continue to grow his net worth with his expansive real estate properties in California, Hawaii, and Idaho. His portfolio includes his 15,000 square foot estate in Carmel-by-the-Sea, a 6,136 square foot home in Bel Air, the 1,067 acre Rising River Ranch in Burney, and another estate next door to his primary Bel Air home.

His best investment to date was his purchase of the Pebble Beach Golf Links in the late 90s. When the property was put on sale, former Major League Baseball commissioner Peter Ueberroth swiftly included his friend & neighbor Clint Eastwood to help invest. Other investors include Richard Ferris, the former CEO of United Airlines.

The three men each coughed up $20 million for their stake in the investment. They then gathered 132 private minority investors, including golf legend Arnold Palmer, who contributed between $2 & $10 million apiece. The deal closed in 1999 and now two decades later, the value of their investment has tripled.
