Directed and produced by Bollywood’s popular star Ajay Devgn, who is also playing the male lead in the film with Big B, Rakul Preet Singh, in Runway 34, an action thriller drama film, which is going to be released soon in theaters from this EID on April 29th. It is being said that the film will have its streaming after 4 weeks of its theatrical release on leading streaming giant Amazon Prime Video.

The actors Ajay Devgn Ffilms produced the movie in association with producer Kumar Mangat Pathak’s Panorama Studios. On the technical front, Assem Bajaj has served as the director of photography and Dharmendra Sharma has handled the editing work. The film’s music score is composed by Amar Mohile while Jasleen Royal has given her voice to the songs of the film.

Actor Ajay Devgn, who was recently seen in cameo roles in big banner movies like Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR, is playing the male lead as Captain Vikrant Khanna. The film marks a huge comeback of the actor as a lead actor after Om Raut’s 2020 directorial historical action drama Tanhaji- The Unsung Warrior, which turned-out-be one of the biggest hits of that time.
It is not the first time Ajay is playing the role of an army man, before this he also played an army officer in movies like Tango Charlie, LOC: Kargil, Major Saab. In his last outing so far as the male lead in “Bhuj: The Pride Of India”, the greatest battle ever fought, where the actor played an Indian Air Force officer. So it will be interesting to see Ajay again as an Armed force officer.
The film will also star Bollywood’s Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan will also play the key role in the film as Narayan Vedant. Big B’s recent film was the biographical sports film Jhund, which was based on the life of the founder of NGO Slum Soccer, Vijay Barse. The film was released in theaters on March 4, 2022, and despite being underperformed commercially, it was highly praised by audiences as well as makers for the performance of the ensemble cast.
The film also stars the beautiful actress Rakul Preet Singh as Captain Tanya. It marks the second collaboration of “Yaariyan” actress after 2019 romantic comedy film “De De Pyaar De”. Further, the film also features actors Boman Irani, Angira Dhar, and Aakanksha Singh, who is playing Ajay Devgn’s wife.
Popular Youtuber Ajey Nagar aka Carry Minati, will also play a key role in the film. He is the one and only individual Youtuber in India who has crossed 3 crore subscriber marks so far.
RUNWAY 34 OTT RELEASE DATE: WHEN WILL BE ON PRIME VIDEO?
This most-anticipated action drama film of Ajay Devgn had gotten its release date in November 2021 with its title. The makers are all set for its grand theatrical release worldwide on April 29, 2022, just a few days prior to Eid-al-Fitr. In India, the film will be distributed by Panorama Studios.
However, today, on April 15, film’s actor-director-producer Ajay Devgn announced that his Ajay Devgn Ffilms has joined hands with Yash Raj Films for the distribution of the film in international markets.
Now, as everyone knows the theater release date, the questions regarding its post-theatrical release are also being asked. Although the makers have not revealed if the film will have a theatrical release after hitting the big screen or not, it is being said that the film will have its streaming after 4 weeks of its theatrical release on leading streaming giant Amazon Prime Video.
So it might be available on OTT streaming services in May last or the first week of June 2022 months. We will update the information as soon as the makers give any updates regarding this.
