Durgavati is a Hindi horror thriller movie, directed by G. Ashok. The film is a remake of a Telugu-Tamil film Bhaagamathie (2018). The film has starring Bhumi Pednekar as an IAS officer, which was played by Anushka Shetty in the original version.

Durgavati film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Akshay Kumar and Vikram Malhotra under the banners T-Series, Cape of Good Films and Abundantia Entertainment.

As Durgavati is the remake of Bhagmati tamil movie, so the story is all similar to the previous one. The storyline follows as IAS officer Chanchala Reddy is imprisoned in a haunted house, while she is interrogated by law enforcers investigating a politician they suspect of corruption.
