Mission Majnu is directed by Shantanu Bagchi while produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala and Garima Mehta.The film stars Sidharth Malhotra (as Amandeep Ajitpal Singh / Tariq Ali, a RAW field officer) and Rashmika Mandanna (as Nasreen, a blind woman) in lead roles. Parmeet Sethi, Sharib Hashmi, Mir Sarwar, Kumud Mishra, Arjan Bajwa, Zakir Hussain, Rajit Kapur also in the cast.

Talking about the movie storyline, it is a fictional story of India’s covert operation before and during the Indo-Pakistani War 1971.

The film faced multiple delays, first released date on 13 May 2022 and then 10 June the same year. Ultimately, the film’s theatrical release was canceled and now be released on 20 January 2023 on the Netflix streaming platform.
