Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film story follows an archaeologist, who is investigating whether the bridge is a myth or a reality. According to the epic Ramayana (7th century BCE to 3rd century CE), Ram Setu is a bridge built by the god Rama’s army of Vanara to reach Lanka to rescue his wife Sita, who was abducted by Lanka’s Rakshasa king Ravana.
Akshay Kumar played role as Dr. Aryan Kulshrestha, an archaeologist in the film with Jacqueline Fernandez as Dr. Sandra Rebello, Nushrratt Bharuccha as Professor Gayatri Kulshrestha (Aryan’s wife), Satyadev Kancharana as associate producer, Nassar, Pravesh Rana, Jeniffer Piccinato, Shubham Jaykar also in the cast list.
