What is the Storyline of Big Sky Season 3

Big Sky started off well with a compelling storyline and a dramatic character death. There were also a few strong performances, most notably John Carroll Lynch and Brooke Smith who both excelled in their respective roles. Both actors did a great job in their roles. Despite the fact that Katheryn Winnick and Kylie Bunbury are not very talented actresses, the show’s first half was entertaining enough for them to make up for it.
The second half of the season ended in utter failure. Instead, the miniseries should have consisted of eight to ten episodes. They kept Ronald around too long to extend the storyline about “Ronald”. There were too many characters in the story of Kleinsasser Ranch, too many strange people to count and no one that was truly interesting. You wouldn’t mind if any of the characters died, but you almost wish they did.
Some of the plot holes were so big that Ronald could drive his truck through, and others were embarrassing. This show was much more enjoyable to watch than it was to enjoy. You could see every twist and turn coming from a mile away. Does legislation require a prisoner to drive a car? Oh no! Oh no!
It caught me off guard, but I now realize that it was something I had anticipated. Trans girl, who was previously a victim of the first half, can now carry a gun and capture prisoners. She disobeys the Marshall, who says she cannot go with him to capture prisoner. Then she is given the responsibility of supporting him. Hysterical!
Big Sky Season 3 Review

After watching the first seven episodes, I’m not convinced that Big Sky is worth keeping. Although the show’s premise was interesting, there were too many problems with it. How is it that one of the girls used the flap to escape from the container she was being held in but didn’t return for the other girls when it would have been simple for her? Rick is also a very inconsistent character.
Ronald gets mad at him for being sloppy and strange, while he is weird and suspicious of everyone for the first 7 episodes. What was the point in flashbacks between Cody and Cassie? The whole Cody cheating on Jenny and Cassie backstory felt unnecessary and only served to create drama. It’s decent for ABC and doesn’t feel cheesy. Big Sky is a huge pile of garbage because of its plot and writing.
