Suriya’s Etharkkum Thunindhavam has been waiting for a release in theatres for a long time now. The film was initially scheduled to release on February 4th, but the film was postponed due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in the country.
The makers have now come forward with a new release date of March 10th, 2022. The film will release with no significant competition from any movie and will have a smooth release. This is Suriya’s comeback into the theatre space after three years.
He has been scoring blockbusters on OTT for the last two years, but he will be craving a theatrical release. It will also be interesting to see whether the OTT audiences will translate into theatre audiences. Etharkkum Thunindhavam will showcase Suriya as the savior again, fighting against social injustice.
The film also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan, Sathyaraj, and Jayaprakash. Pandiraj is the movie director, and Kalanithi Maran has produced the film. D Imman is the music director of the film.
