Billie Eilish Launchs Her First Fragrance, Eilish

Billie Eilish gets her own brand! Singer Billie’s latest project might make fragrance-loving fans happier than ever. On Wednesday, the pop star announced on Instagram that she’s set to release her first fragrance, Eilish, calling the soon-to-be-released scent “my favorite smell in the WORLD.”

“Perfumes have been one of my greatest joys in life, and I’ve always wanted to make one,” the “Therefore I Am” singer, 19, told Vogue.

“And not as Billie Eilish, not as an artist, not as a singer; I wanted to make a perfume to have a perfume. It has nothing to do with me, I’m just branding it so that people see it.”

The eponymous fragrance features cocoa, soft spices and vanilla – “I’ve always been in love with vanilla, since I was a kid and my mom would teach me to bake,” she told the magazine — in addition to base notes of musk, tonka bean and sleek woods.

And with the star’s perfume set to launch sometime in November, she added to Cosmopolitan that she “wanted it to feel cozy, almost like the word November,” which she calls a “brown word and month—almost like tree bark.”

The star also told Vogue that she and her father both have synesthesia, a phenomenon which causes different senses, including smell and sight, to intertwine.

“My favorite smells are these like, amber-colored smells, to me, in my brain,” she said. “I have a really strong nose, and since I was like a little kid, smells are all I think about.”

Matching the “amber-colored” scents, the perfume — which is set to retail exclusively on for $68 — comes in a sculptural amber-bronze bottle, depicting a woman’s bust.

“I’ve always had an infatuation with back and collarbones and just like, bones and bodies,” she told the fashion glossy of the human body-inspired bottle, adding that she abstracted the metallic figure, so it wasn’t depicting a “certain body type.”

Billie Eilish The fragrance’s bottle depict’s an abstract female bust in a glimmering shade of amber.

“I think that the human body is so beautiful as it is, and we should stop changing all of our bodies and just be appreciative of what they naturally are because they’re so beautiful,” --- Billie said, before adding of the scent’s silhouette, “I wanted it to feel like you could see anybody in it, and you could be it.”

The “Bad Guy” signer’s fragrance comes on the heels of her partnership with Nike in which she designed two vegan Jordan sneakers. She also released her sophomore album, “Happier Than Ever,” earlier this year and debuted both platinum blond hair and a delicate new tattoo as part of the new era.

Eilish is far from the first celebrity to cash in on the fragrance industry, as stars including Kim KardashianAriana Grande, Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez have had their own range of scents for years, while Rihanna recently expanded her Fenty empire with her own debut fragrance.
