Neil Patrick Harris‘s virtual appearance on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show, the actor teased Matrix series fans that he has a “small part” in the upcoming Matrix 4 while showering praises on director Lana Wachowski.
Actor Neil Patrick Harris said that there has been a considered shift in the filmmaking way of director Lana Wachowski, who is presently working on the popular and very much-awaited Matrix 4.
The fourth part of the Matrix series, which was started in the year 1999 as ‘The Matrix‘, will see franchise stars Carrie-Anne Moss and Keanu Reeves returning as Trinity and Neo.
Lana, who had created the series with her sister Lilly, is helming the movie from a script she has co-written with David Mitchell and Aleksandar Hemon.
In his virtual presence on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show, Patrick Harris teased the fans with a fact that he has a “small part” in Matrix four while showering praises on director Lana Wachowski.
“I think she has great inclusive energy and her style has shifted visually from what she had done to what she is currently doing.”Patrick Harris said in a statement
Patrick called this fourth part of the Matrix film as one of the most “ambitious” plans being made in Hollywood currently.
“I’ve always wanted to be a leader in a big giant action movie with wires and stuff. And this is not bad for me, but it’s certainly tangential and fun for me to be able to play in the sandbox a little bit,” Furthermore the actor added.
Besides Patrick, the immigrants for The Matrix 4 also include Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jonathan Groff, Brian J Smith, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Toby Onwumere in their pivotal roles.
The film is produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures.
Matrix 4 movie is all set to be released worldwide on 1 April 2022.
