The entire Rabai is stunned after learning about the death of one of their member of Parliament named William Kamoti who died in a road accident. The mishap occurred on Sunday night at around 9:40 PM when the vehicle of the politician had been crushed against a lorry. He was accompanied by his driver who sustained some serious injuries but survived the attack, however, it claimed the life of William Kamoti.

The case even attained the attention of Kilifi North Police and the prominent officer named Jonathan Koech informed that the accident took place at Komaza black spot on the Kilifi-Mombasa Highway on Sunday, 29 May 2022 at around 9:40 PM.
The MP was on Sunday cleared by Independent Electrol along with Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to safeguard his seat during an Orange Democratic Movement party ticket during the August 9 polls.
The accident has become the talk of the town lately and people are concerned for his family and friends.
All the major political personalities are expressing their grief at the misfortune and appreciate him as a great leader who always believed in the welfare of the people throughout his life.
MP of Ganze named Teddy Mwambire also released a statement wherein he praised Kamoti and said that Kilif Country had lost a great leader. He informed one of the renowned information sources said “We were in contact with him as he presented his documents to IEBC today.”
The MP further said that after his vehicle Kamoti was hit by the truck it got rolled multiple times due to which both the person driving in the car got injured seriously. Kamoti’s injuries succumbed him to death.
