Amazon Studios’ action comedy film, My Spy full movie, directed by Peter Segal, written by Jon and Erich Hoeber, and starring Dave Bautista, Chloe Coleman, Kristen Schaal, and Ken Jeong will be available to watch online on Amazon Prime Video from June 26 in the United States. According to the reports, Amazon Studios purchased distribution rights for the film which opted to release the film digitally on Prime Video due to the COVID-19 pandemic having shut down theatres worldwide.
Talking about the film storyline, the film story follows when a hardened CIA operative (JJ, who is a former US Special Forces soldier) finds himself at the mercy of a precocious 9-year-old girl, having been sent undercover to surveil her family.

Talking more about a film release date, it was originally scheduled for a theatrical release on August 23, 2019, but later it was pushed back to an undisclosed date in 2020. On March 7, 2020, the theatrical release in the United States and Canada was cancelled due to movie theatres closures since mid-March because of the C-19 pandemic restrictions. The next day April 8, Amazon Studios acquired distribution rights to the film and stated that it will be released digitally on Prime Video on June 26, 2020.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has an approval rating of 48% based on 44 reviews, with an average score of 5.05/10. On Metacritic the film has a weighted average score of 44/100, based on reviews from eight critics, indicating “mixed or average reviews“.
Ben Travis of Empire gave the film 2/5 rating and wrote: “This big-spy-meets-little-kid comedy isn’t funny enough for teens, but not really suitable for younger viewers either.“
