KGF Chapter 3 Release Date, Filming, Cast, Plot, Budget And More Updates

KGF Chapter 3 is coming! Filmmaker Prashanth Neel after unleashing the second chapter of the period action K.G.F on the big screens is now en route for the third one. Earlier makers had claimed the K.G.F would be the only two-part film, but recently they teased the fans by hinting at the third chapter in the post-credit scene of K.G.F 2.

Confirming the news movie critic and biz analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote, “Yes K.G.F 3 is on the way.” Here we are sharing with you the probability of the third chapter hitting the screens.

Director Prashant Neel is currently busy with the K.G.F 2, he will soon resume his shoot for his forthcoming big-ticket film Salaar starring pan India actor Prabhas.

KGF 3 Production

Let us inform you that in March 2020, there was only 30% shoot was concluded for Salaar, so we expect the remaining shoot will be wrapped up by the last leg of 2022. As makers have confirmed that the Prabhas starrer will be ready to hit the big screens for the first quarter of 2023.

Then only the production of K.G.F 3 will start, if everything goes according to the plan, then the journey from pre-production to post-production could be concluded by mid-2024.

K.G.F Chapter 3 Release Date

Following the above sequence, we assume that the third installment in the franchise will be ready to hit the silver screens by the third quarter (July-Sept) of 2024.

KGF Chapter 3 Budget?

Chapter 1 is reportedly made on a budget of around Rs 80 Cr and Chapter 2 on around Rs 100 Cr, the director would definitely try to make the third chapter with enhancing cinematic qualities. So, we assume that the third chapter will be made with a budget over Rs 150 Cr.

Is Chapter 4,5,6 on the way?

As per an interview given to the Firstpost by the producer Vijay Kiragandur, answering the question about expanding the franchise, Vijay said, “We Have Plans To Do A Few More Chapters. I Think It Will Get Bigger and Better.”

His answer can be construed that there might be chapters 4, 5, and 6 as long as the audience keeps showering love on franchise.

K.G.F Chapter 3 Cast & Crew

Prashant Neel seems don’t believe in changing the crew members, the cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda, and the music composer Ravi Basrur were there since his first film. So, we expect for the third sequel Bhuvan and Ravi will definitely be on board, it will be bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films.

However, an official statement is yet awaited from the maker’s side on whether part 3 is en route or not, recently Yash while giving an interview to Variety teased the fans about the said to be the upcoming part he said that there is the possibility for the third part as they have left several portions which might be featured in the forthcoming part.
