All Xbox Games List Releasing In September 2021

Fall, it is that time of the year when most of the anticipated are launched. Last year we received titles like Watch Dogs: Legion, Assassins Creed Valhalla, Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, etc. It is September now, so we are already in the fall season which means it’s time for some more new titles to drop. With the launch of new consoles, everyone is pretty excited to try them out for themselves. In this article, we would be talking about all Xbox games releasing in September 2021.

Microsoft launched their new consoles, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Playstation was not going to be left behind and came out with PlayStation 5. And just like that, began the availability issues among both of them. This is mainly due to the pandemic as most of the world was shut down, and the chip (CPU) manufacturers were not able to produce enough for the market. Now, let me remind you what all things that you use in your daily life require that chip, mobile phones, fridge, AC, TV, oven, microwave, basically any and all electronics that we use. And of course, our beloved consoles and graphics cards.

With all that sad stuff out of the way, let’s discuss all the Xbox games releasing in September 2021.

Life Is Strange: True Colors

This is the fourth installment in the Life Is Strange franchise. It is a graphic adventure game developed by Deck Nine and published by Square Enix. This game follows the story of Alex Chen, a young Asian-American woman. She grew up in a foster family and was a troubled child. She reunites with her brother Gabe eight years later when he calls her to Haven Springs. Gabe is killed in a mysterious accident. Now Alex must use her hidden powers of sensing other’s emotions to find out the truth about her brother’s death. There are a few characters from the older series as well.

Talking about the release date, Life Is Strange: True Colors will be releasing on September 10. There is no episodic release, the game will release in its entirety. It will be available to play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Stadia. It will be launching a little later for Nintendo Switch.


NBA 2K22

For all those Basketball fans out there, NBA is back with NBA 2K22. This time the game looks even more amazing and realistic. The playability of the game has been significantly improved. We all hate Rookieville, well then say bye-bye to it. Yes, they finally removed the 5 mandatory match rule. My career and my city are now integrated. This will make the world now more accessible and interactive, everything will happen in real-time, and so will the cut-scenes.

Coming back to the release date, NBA 2K22 is set to release on September 10. The game will have Standard Edition and a 75th Anniversary Edition. It will be available for Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.


Sable

Sable is an indie adventure/exploration open-world game developed by Shedworks and published by Raw Fury. It is a story of a young girl called Sable, who is in search of a fitting rite-of-passage mask. The came has absolutely no combat or a set storyline. It is mainly just solving puzzles and exploring the desert and ruins on your hover-bike.

Sable is set to release on September 23. 2021. There is no special edition that the developers spoke of yet, so just the standard edition. Sable will be available to play on Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, Windows, and macOS.


Diablo II: Resurrected

For all of those RPG fans out there, Diablo II: Resurrected the classic of the classics is back. The game features much much improved graphics along with a sound design. The game also received a complete cutscene overhaul. In an interview, Rob Gallerani, principal designer of the game, said that each and every cutscene is remade with modern-day CGI, but the direction of the scenes is kept the same.

Diablo II: Resurrected is set to release on September 23, 2021. The game will be available to play on Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch with cross-progression support. Which basically means welcome to hell.


Lake

Lake is an indie adventure game set in 1986. The game follows the story of a girl named Meredith Weiss. She is a programmer in a big city. One day she decides to go back to her hometown, Providence Oaks, to fill in for her dad as a mail carrier. She takes a 2-week leave from her job and sets out to work as a mail carrier. There she has a chance to reunite with old friends, meet new people. Everything is up to the player to decide, even her love path and if at all she will stay in Providence Oaks.

Lake has been already released on September 1. It is available to play on Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, and Windows. It was an Xbox exclusive but is currently available on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and macOS.


Lost Judgement

Lost Judgment is an action-adventure game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega. It is the sequel to the popular 2018 game Judgment. The story focuses on private detective Takayuki Yagami as he investigates a guy named Akihiro Ehara, who is accused of sexual harassment and murder. He explores the Japanese cities of Kamurocho and Isezaki Ijincho to find out the truth and engage in combat wherever necessary. The trailer and early footage of the game looks promising and honestly intriguing. Lost Judgement is set to release on September 21 for Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and 5.

Tales Of Arise

Tales Of Arise is an action RPG developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Arise takes place in a setting which is divided into two worlds Dahna and Rena. Dahna is a medieval world, while Rena is an advanced world. Due to this, Rena, with their advancement in technology and magic, exploit the resources of the Dahna and enslave its people. The protagonists of this story are Alphen, native to Dahna, and a woman, Shionne, from Rena. They end up traveling together and are later joined by others who are also from both Dahna and Rena.

Tales Of Arise will be releasing on September 10. It will be available on gaming systems like Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows. There is no actual announcement regarding its availability on Nintendo Switch, so we don’t know if or when will this game be available for Switch.


Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is a racing game developed by KT Racing and published by Nacon. The game is set in Hong Kong island. Taken on another crew while helping yours and exploring the city of Hong Kong. The two crews in this game are Streets and Sharps. You have to choose between the two and help your clan overthrow the other one while climbing the rank in your own clan. The developers have confirmed that it will be an MMO game (Massive Multiplayer). It is an open-world game where you can go off-road. Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is set to release on September 22. It will be available to play on Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, Playstation 5 and 4, and Windows.

All Xbox games releasing in September 2021 so far look very promising, and this is just a scratch to the surface. There are many more titles releasing this year, and some of them are straight-up bangers. But, as it happens with most of the awesome games, some of them might get pushed to 2022.
